First participation at RETROMOBILE for PORSCHE DISTRIBUTION
On 1 January 2012, PORSCHE DISTRIBUTION, which includes the 6 Porsche Centres in the Ile-de-France area, inaugurated its "Classic" service at the Porsche Centre in Vélizy, a service entirely devoted to the restoration of classic Porsches from the 356 to the 911 type 964.
70 % of all Porsches ever built are still on the road: a sure sign of quality for the Porsche brand. This is what naturally prompted PORSCHE DISTRIBUTION to create a department devoted to the maintenance and restoration of classic Porsches.
The Classic department at Porsche Distribution is the first ever "Porsche Classic" department in France.
PORSCHE DISTRIBUTION is taking part in RETROMOBILE for the first time. One of the cars on show will be a 1972 911 2.4 S, which is the first Porsche whose bodywork has been restored at the Porsche Centre in Vélizy. Restored this year, it showcases the expertise of the "Classic" department.
