Citroën presents an unusual and multi-facetted theme at Rétromobile: Citroën and Art.
The Citroen stand showcases artists who have worked closely with the marque or collaborated on occasional art projects.
On show are works by Pierre Louÿs (official poster artist for André Citroën) from the 1920s and 30s, drawings and sculptures by Flaminio Bertoni (Citroën's great designerfrom 1932 to 1964) and reproductions of the model for the CX by Victor Vasarely, drawings by Kojiro Imamura, a video of the famous Totemobile by Chico MacMurtrie,and the work created by Bernard Rancillac for the XM’art exhibition when the XM was launched in 1989.

Two "artistic" cars will be on show: a GS painted by French artist Jean Pierre Lihou in 1976, and the Survolt concept car revisited by Françoise Nielly in 2010.

14 clubs will be present on the Citroën stand, some of them focusing on the same artistic theme. They'll also be celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Rosalie and the 30th anniversary of the BX.
The Amicale Citroën Internationale will be promoting this year's international Citroën event to be held from 9 to 12 August 2012 in Harrogate, England.
